Hi, I'm Lemmy.

A 21-year-old passionate designer with a strong focus on graphic and motion design.

I also have experience in branding, 3D, and packaging, which allows me to approach projects from different creative angles. While drawing isn't my strongest skill, I make up for it with a strong sense of creativity and solid software skills.

Design is more than just work to me, it's truly my passion. I'm always motivated to take on new projects and continuously improve myself. From a young age, I knew I was creative and wanted to turn that creativity into my career.

I would describe myself as assertive and introverted. When I'm working, I'm fully focused and committed. Once I set my mind on something, I work through it until I achieve the best possible result. I take pride in delivering high-quality work and pushing myself to get the most out of every project.

Outside of design, I'm a sporty, spontaneous, and kind person. People can easily approach me, and my impulsive side often helps me come up with fresh and original ideas quickly.

I speak Dutch, English and German, and a little French.

Background & education

A creative
path.
Still moving.

AGE 13 · FIRST CREATIVE PROJECTS

Learning by making

I started creating design work at the age of 13. Personal projects and work for others gave me space to experiment with graphic design, 3D and social media content. That hands-on experience has continued alongside my studies, helping me develop both my ideas and my software skills.

SECONDARY SCHOOL · EXPLORING DIRECTIONS

Physical Education and Sports

My first direction in secondary school was Physical Education and Sports. Exploring different subjects helped me discover where my interests lay before I moved towards business, IT and design.

SECONDARY SCHOOL · A CREATIVE FOUNDATION

TSO Business and IT

I switched to TSO Business and IT and chose Digital Design as an elective. This was where I built my first foundation in design, bringing creative thinking together with technical skills.

AFTER SECONDARY SCHOOL · A CHANGE OF DIRECTION

Teacher training · English & Economics

After graduating from secondary school, I started a degree in teaching English and Economics. I soon realised it wasn't the right fit and decided to pursue my interest in design instead.

GRADUATED STUDY

Digital Design · AP University of Applied Sciences

At AP University, I found a study direction that perfectly connects with my passion for design. I graduated in Digital Design, with a strong focus on graphic and motion design, along with experience in branding, 3D design, and packaging.

CURRENT CHAPTER

SELF-STUDY

After graduating, I continue to develop my creative skills through self-study and personal projects. My main focus is on video editing, graphic design, and exploring AI as a creative tool. I enjoy experimenting with new techniques and technologies to expand my skills and stay up to date with the evolving creative industry.
